This poem was inspired by a poets workshop by the Powers Writers people from the movie To Be Heard.
I am not proud of my past
trying to live life fast
getting bad grades ... ended up biting me in the .....
but senior year... here I am
trying to make it by... trying to make it pass
my grades change but I never will
even when I'm on top going down hill... i'll still...be real
